Neil Sedaka, the distinguished singer-songwriter whose string of hits within the Sixties and Seventies included “Laughter within the Rain,” “Breaking Up is Onerous to Do” and “Calendar Woman,” has died, a consultant confirmed to CBS Information Friday. He was 86.
