Israel’s Protection Forces mentioned Wednesday that Iran’s intelligence minister, Esmail Khatib, had been killed in a “focused strike” in Tehran, marking the third assassination of a high-ranking official in simply two days.

In accordance with AP, Iran’s Supreme Nationwide Safety Council launched an announcement confirming Larijani was killed “alongside together with his son Morteza Larijani and the top of his workplace, Alireza Bayat, in addition to a number of guards.”
The IDF mentioned Khatib was appointed to his place in 2021 by Iran’s late supreme chief, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was killed in strikes geared toward high-ranking Iranian officers initially of the struggle on Feb. 28.
