President Donald Trump on Friday vowed to confront Canada over the North American wildfires which have enveloped swaths of the US in a smoky haze.
Calling the state of affairs “completely unacceptable,” Trump accused Ottawa of failing to adequately tackle the state of affairs, which has despatched air high quality to harmful ranges in main U.S. cities for a number of days.
The prices inflicted on the U.S. “should of necessity be added to the TARIFFS Canada is at the moment paying,” Trump wrote in a Fact Social publish.
Trump added that he plans to name Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney later Friday “to search out out what they’re going to do about it.”
